A brief note about retired founding attorney Maxa S. Berid

After approximately forty years in active practice, Maxa Berid retired from practicing law in 2014.  She opened the Law Office of Maxa S. Berid in 1982 and focused her practice primarily on family law.  She proudly welcomed her nephew Eric into the firm in 1995. He became her partner in 2005 and the firm changed its name to Berid & Schutzbank, LLC. Maxa felt comfortable leaving her legal legacy in the hands of Eric when she decided to retire and knew that he would continue to handle the firm’s clients with the same level of excellence that has always exemplified the firm. She continues to enjoy her retirement, volunteering, worldly travels and spending time with her family and friends.
